Pandor recently acquired a JBK-3200 hybrid UV printer. It prints directly onto rigid materials and can also print on flexible roll-fed media.
The printer has a 3.2 m working format and can handle rigid materials up to 50 mm thick. Compatible materials include acrylic, glass, aluminium composite panels (ACP), MDF, wood, ceramic and metal. For roll printing, it supports vinyl, fabric, canvas and wallpaper.
The JBK-3200 can be configured with Ricoh Gen5 or Gen6 printheads, or Konica Minolta printheads. For the Ricoh Gen6 configuration, the manufacturer lists speeds of up to 1,120 sq ft per hour—about 104 m² per hour. Ricoh printhead resolution can reach up to 2,400 dpi. These are maximum specifications; actual results depend on the printer configuration and print mode.
Adjustable vacuum zones hold the material in place on the printer bed. Depending on the configuration, print modes can include white ink and varnish.
The printer can produce graphics on rigid panels and large-format prints on roll media for signs, window displays and interior spaces. We select the material and settings to suit the size and requirements of each project.
