About this solution

A portable display is a sign that fits in a bag: a roll-up that goes up in a minute at a conference, a pop-up wall that turns a corner of a lobby into a stand, an X-banner by a shop door. It is the choice when the place changes — exhibitions, presentations, fairs, seminars, in-store events — and when the same message has to reach ten places in the same car.

A roll-up has an aluminium cassette in which the graphic rolls on a spring and a pole that holds it taut; it comes in standard widths and different heights, with a plain or a double-sided cassette. A pop-up is an aluminium frame that unfolds like a concertina, onto which magnetic panels or a textile graphic attach as a continuous wall, straight or curved, several metres long. The X-banner is the simplest: four arms in an X stretching a banner with eyelets. The graphic is printed on anti-glare material so it does not shine under exhibition lights, and the carry case is part of the set.

What separates a good stand from a poor one shows after the fifth trip: whether the graphic still rolls straight, whether the spring still holds it taut, whether the pole has bent, whether the case still closes. The mechanism is chosen by how often it is used; for a stand that goes to events every week, a solid cassette and a thicker graphic matter more than for one that stands at reception.

The graphic changes without tools, so the same roll-up carries another campaign, and the file is prepared at the stand's exact size, with the bottom zone — which goes into the cassette — left without text. For a whole exhibition stand, portable displays combine with a folding counter, leaflet holders and their own lighting, and everything travels in an ordinary car.

Frequently asked questions

All frequently asked questions
Roll-up, pop-up or X-banner?

A roll-up for almost anything: it goes up in a minute, stands on its own, fits in its case and is carried by hand. A pop-up when a whole wall is needed — the backdrop of a stand, a stage or a photo corner — several metres, straight or curved. An X-banner for the simplest and lightest standing poster, indoors, where nobody brushes against it.

Can the graphic be changed?

Yes, without tools, on roll-ups and pop-ups: the same structure carries another campaign, and the new graphic is printed at the stand's size. On an X-banner the graphic is a banner with eyelets, changed just as simply. Ask from the start for a file at the stand's size, so the next graphics can be prepared anywhere.

How do I prepare the file?

At the exact size of the graphic, which we give for each model, with text and logo kept away from the edges and from the bottom zone, which on a roll-up goes into the cassette. Images at good resolution — a photograph off the internet looks blurred at two metres. If you have no designer, we prepare the file from the brand's materials.

What should I send for a quote?

How many stands, of what kind and size, for what kind of events — once or weekly, so we choose the right mechanism — and the brand materials or the finished file. If you already have stands and only want new graphics, send the model or a photograph of the cassette.
