About this solution

An exhibition stand is a company's sign for three days: the space in which, in a hall full of competitors, someone stops or walks on. It is made to order, from the exhibition plan and from what the client has to show — a product, a service, a table to talk at — not from a catalogue panel system. The same workshop makes brand objects: a 3D logo for a head-office lobby, a photo corner, a brand element for a launch or an event.

The structure is aluminium profile or a steel frame, with walls in chipboard, MDF or composite panels, graphics printed on banner, vinyl or tensioned textile, a raised floor with carpet or laminate, and its own lighting — spots on the fascia, lightboxes, LED letters. Furniture, display cases, a closed store and the reception counter are part of the same design. The elements are made modular, in pieces that fit in a truck and pass through a hall door.

A good stand is seen from the aisle: one message readable from ten metres, a tall element visible above the neighbouring stands, and an open space that can be entered without squeezing past anyone. The most common mistake is to fill every metre with text and product. The second thing that matters is the build: a stand that goes up without cutting on site goes up the third time as well as the first.

The job starts from the organiser's stand plan — dimensions, open sides, permitted height, service connections — and from the client's brand materials. Pandor designs, builds, transports, installs within the organiser's build-up window and dismantles after closing. Between events the structure is stored and reused, with the graphics changed as needed.

Frequently asked questions

All frequently asked questions
Custom stand or a rented modular system?

A rented panel system suits when all that matters is a wall with a logo on it. A custom stand is chosen when the stand has to look like the brand rather than like the neighbour's, when it has to house a particular product or activity, and when it will be used at several exhibitions — then the structure pays for itself through reuse.

What do you need from the organiser?

The stand plan with its dimensions and open sides, the maximum permitted height, the exhibition's technical rules — what can be fixed to the floor, which materials are allowed — the power points and the build-up and dismantling windows. All of it is usually in the documentation the organiser sends on registration.

Can the stand be reused at the next exhibition?

Yes, if it was designed for it — modular, with joints that come apart and go back together many times, with nothing glued on site. Between events we store it, and at the next one the graphics are changed and, if the stand plan is different, it is reconfigured from the same modules.

What should I send for a quote?

The organiser's stand plan, the brand materials — logo, colours, photographs — what has to fit in the stand (products, number of people, a meeting table, storage) and whether it needs a floor, lighting or a screen. Photographs of stands you like help set the direction.
